Kilmer College Culinary Class

Students need to be able to read a recipe and follow directions, be able to learn to measure ingredients, use a sharp knife, stove & oven, and possess the ability to work independently without additional supervision other than the instructor.

These classes are designed to teach students about kitchen safety, food handling, shopping, knife skills, use of simple kitchen equipment, recipe reading and creating delicious, healthy meals in a short period of time. Weekly class schedule will also cover cooking basics, timing of menu, use of various cooking methods, and creation of dishes from cuisines from around the world.
