FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES
“Children with special needs aren’t sent to special parents, they make parents special.”
~ Unknown
One of the biggest challenges facing caregivers is the emotional and physical toll of caring for an individual with disabilities. Family Support Services provide caregivers a much-needed break either in or out-of-home.
In-home support gives families the convenience of having TERI staff supervise and engage the individual with special needs in their daily routine and activities. Siblings will also be supervised if needed.
Out-of-home support is a very popular social and recreational program for all ages. Community outings can include visits to the TERI equestrian center, local parks, bowling, trampoline parks, etc. Participants can also utilize the TERI fitness center, scheduled music classes, games and arts and crafts.
